Follow these steps to close your group permanently:
From your Meetup group's homepage, select “Manage group”
Choose “Step down as organizer” from the dropdown
De-select any members that are selected on the following page.
Add a reason on the following page
Select "Next", and then "Continue"
Choose the “delete the Meetup” link
Confirm with the “Delete this Meetup” button on the following page
On the final confirmation page, click the “Done” button
Note: You cannot delete your Meetup account from the app.
